支給された家

村人たち（独立派の闘士だった人も多い）が定住できるよう政府から支給された定型の住宅。　既に50軒以上が建てられています。　現金で支給されたこともあり、その時は3,500万ルピア（約35万円）でした。　途中でお金が切れて建てかけの家や、せっかく建てても空き家になっている家もあります。 （2009年5月24日　インドネシア　アチェ州ブキット・バリサン山脈）

Standard houses were provided to resettle former villagers under a public housing project.  Many of them were GAM fighters.  Sometimes it was provided by cash and the amount was RP35 million (about USD3,500) for a house.  Some houses are unfinished because of diversion by the contructor or the owner, and some are vacant though they are finished. 入植地のお母さん

バイクで2時間、歩いて5時間掛かるため、村に帰るのはラマダン明けなど年に2回だけだそうです。　元々この入植地には家が200軒くらいあったそうですが、2003年に焼かれていったん全員が引き上げています。　和平成立後、だんだん村人が戻って来ていますが、まだ数十軒で、家族を村に残している人もいます。 （2009年5月24日　インドネシア　アチェ州ブキット・バリサン山脈）

A mother in the settlement.  Since it takes two hours by motorcycle or five hours on foot, she goes back to the village only twice a year.  There were 200 houses in the settlement, but everybody went away after houses were burnt in 2003 during the conflict.  People are coming back after peace, but still there are only several dosens of houses and some people leave their families in the village.  (Bukit Barisan Mountains, Naggroe Aceh Darussalam, Indonesia)

Since it takes five hours on adult foot to go to the village where an elementary school is, children in this settlement cannot go to school unless they have their relatives in the village.  The parents of this boy want him to live with his grandmother, who lives in a village where it takes two days on foot, but they have not communicated ｅａｃｈ　ｏｔｈｅｒ　for years.  This area was the center of Aceh independence movement and people could not come and go among villages.  (Bukit Barisan Mountains, Naggroe Aceh Darussalam, Indonesia)
